  1. Kantenmechaniker scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

I love such dirty wine barrel maturation, something really happens in the glass, otherwise unmistakably Port Charlotte, it's fun from start to finish
    • Nose
Wine gum, fruity, cowshed, caramel, slightly ashy smoke, cherries, tobacco, pastries, dough, creamy, sour, yes, I find the rather sour currants here too, vanilla with spice, nutmeg, cocoa or rather ovaltine, I enjoy it a lot
    • Taste
Oily, much more smoke, currants, dirty, ash, cowshed, overripe orange, intense, just my thing, overall rather dry and only light sweetness, also chocolate, some cinnamon, more sweetness at the start, the second sip is better if you knows what's coming, very varied, grapes, the alcohol is super integrated, I won't add any water
    • Finish
Pure dirt, meaning positively, to chew, light sulphur, still slightly fruity, the smoke subsides, actually quite smooth, long-lasting
