Nice whisky, really pleasant. A lot of fruit notes, noticeable coastal influence (noticeable minerality). Pretty well balanced and easy going, reasonably priced in addition.

Rounded, fruity (ripe pear, sweet oranges), creamy, slightly malty, minerally (wet limestone), oatmeal, honey notes, a hint of vanilla, orange zest after adding water
    • Taste
Slightly sweet, very minerally (Vichy water, limestone), citruses, roasted hazelnuts, shortbread cookies, some spices at the end (pepper and nutmeg)
    • Finish
Medium-long, slightly dry and malty, sweet (berry jam), nutty

Very complex and balanced with excellent nose. The influence of the barrels shows very well and complemented impressively with the Brennereicharakter.
    • Nose
a torrent of vanilla and soft brandy, sweeter and spicy, in addition to light caramel that can prevail more and more, then oily with salted peanuts and hazelnuts, to cinnamon, some raisins and dried dates push into the foreground, very elegant, fine sandalwood Smoke-sea salt combinations and juicy orange
    • Taste
gentle alcohol, vanilla, then beautiful oak spice and a hint of soft caramel, very clear hazelnut syrup which bites into soft bitterness and chocolate, then dark and full dates are reported which lack sweetness, orange peel and again cinnamon
    • Finish
soft and short, a bit dry and hints of caramel, interspersed with oak, pleasant spiciness towards cinnamon, bittersweet cocoa
