- Tasty as usual, good Bourbon for 55 €, this batch comes in the nose very dry over, almost dusty, no glue, in the mouth then particularly fruity (for Baker's), red berries, cherry, nut and lots of wood
- Sweet and tasty ....
The colleague will hit you soon, sweet vanilla with a lot of caramel in the nose. Cooked fruits, come in the form of pear, apple, apricot. From the background comes a slightly sour note. Toasted bread with butter and some fresh leather. A cool touch. Something like mint.
But strong, slightly bitter-nutty onset. Seasoning pushes, but then immediately makes room for the sweet vanilla caramel candy. The freshly toasted toast with butter is also found again. The second sip is also the cooked fruit. Pear and apple. Has something of fresh melted dark chocolate.
Medium. Staying creamy with sweet espresso.
- Should be enjoyed neat. Alcohol is well integrated. Time and air helps a lot. Altogether a multi-layered whiskey, really quaffable and quite affordable as well.
Pure: liquorice, oak, freshly ground pepper and allspice. Some dry herbs (thyme and rosemary), nutmeg and fresh ginger. Then freshly ground aniseed seed. Becomes milder with time and some air. A few red berries and a bit of leather at the end.
Water brings a certain alcoholic spiciness, which fades quickly, then some cooling menthol. The pepper and the spices recede. Instead some vanilla pudding with caramel sauce.
Freshly grown black pepper, beside a beautiful sweetness and spices (cloves, nutmeg and allspice). Oily mouthfeel. Despite its high alcohol very harmonious and soft. Dark chocolate (>70%). Water brings liquorice, the spices condense with a little caramel to Ricola sweets, some cooling menthol. At the end freshly broken branches and some wormwood.
Long and intense, pepper and herb candies linger. Warming and mouth filling.
- Room temperature when drinking: 18 ℃
Viewing Eyes: Copper Gold
Smell Nose: A lot of organic reagents, cream desserts, heavy sugar cheesecake, banana syrup, cherry jam, French pudding, alcohol stimulation is more obvious.
Taste Palate: a little lacquer, caramel, soufflé, egg tart, roasted banana, the warmth of baking, gingerbread man, cinnamon and vanilla at the end, good balance
Finishing: Medium, cocoa powder, milk chocolate, whipped cream
Body: Medium, soft, full of fat, slightly bitter bottom, smooth body
Added two drops of water, smelled of floral soap, and also appeared burnt scorched rubber paste, mild smell of fermented cheese, orange peel cake, very obvious red bean porridge and cereal porridge, fresh taro, and even A hint of Wujiang mustard
The entrance has more citrus aromas (orange fruit), fruit tart, orange blossom essential oil, cream cake, banana and jackfruit, and weak dried dehydrated durian. The red bean soup appeared in the ending rhyme, and the wine was slightly loose.
Overall: It tastes smooth, gentle and powerful. I like red bean porridge.

Delicious, strong, balanced bourbon. Balance 22
- a super intense balanced soft bourbon,
very good quality, a clear premium US whiskey of the upper class
somewhat reserved, soft and pleasant, no trace of glue or unpleasant alcoholic note, typical sweetness of corn, vanilla
oW: strong, voluminous appearance, lots of aroma on the palate, strong character, lots of vanilla and oak, but needs water;
mW: softer and more aromatic than without water, a lot of sweetness and vanilla, very soft in the mouth, subtle wood notes, no disturbing factors
medium length finish;
medium-long strong spicy aftertaste
- In the meantime already tasted a few bourbon, so far my best - the price of around € 52.00 is justified!
Full, powerful, strong, aromatic = simply good!
