This cask strength at rather low abv is really interesting. It unleashes its potential already without water but most surprisingly water brings out even more different tastes. Excellent!
    • Nose
Rich, complex, honey, malty, heavy sweet and ripe fruits, apricots, bananas, malty, hints of oak, hints of old books, some citrus fruits - great and promising!

With water (what?) - yes it's a cask strength - it becomes even more fruity - a fruit basket with apples, pears, grapes?
    • Taste
Punchy, oily, liquorice, fruity, nutty, milk chocolate, ripe fruits and citrus fruits again, hints of green apple and cider, but also a subtle sweetness - very good!

With water it goes definitely more into cider an fruit juice.
    • Finish
Long, warm and more drying oak notes coming out in the end.

With water the finish becomes very smooth and zesty but less oak notes.
