  1. MaltMartin Plus scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

As far as I know maturation for twenty years is not very common for Canadian Whiskey. However, it doesn't make this whiskey more complex in my view. Still an enjoyable 'sipping' whiskey for the summer.
    • Nose
A sort of 'rye dustiness' of pencil shavings and gentle spices of cloves and nutmeg. Quite grassy as well. Some floral notes of freesias and lilac. Camomile tea. Later on hints of pine.
    • Taste
Quite creamy. Lots of cherry glace and barley sugar. Toffee sweetness. Cedar wood intermingled with vanilla and honey. Followed by a slightly earthy mustiness. Even strawberries at the background.
    • Finish
Medium long. Milk chocolate. A little menthol at the end.
