    • Nose
      Color:
      Shiny, rich gold

      Nose:
It starts with a sour floral note. Hay and, again, asphalt vapor. But oilier than the 2248. Damp forest floor and a touch of conifer oil.
With some time in the glass, it becomes even more settled, elegant, and waxy. The wood shows its age, but is very resinous. More grainy sweetness. The subtle tropical fruit notes seem very mature.
    • Taste
Completely different from 2248. Oily, sweet opening. Much denser. The slightly bitter smoke simply rounds off the complex flavor. Overripe pineapple and lychee, combined with a touch of coconut. The wood is waxy and shows its age without being overpowering. A pinch of salt and sweet grains are also present.
    • Finish
      Long and complex.
