  1. MaltMartin scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

At first tasting I got this typical over-perfumed FWP-factor, but at the second try a couple of days later this is almost completely gone. It seems that the oxygen in this miniature has improved it a lot. Distillate from the 1970's.
    • Nose
Gentle smoke intermingled with citrsu fruit of lemon and lime. Some vanilla. Dried flowers, lavender and heather. Lapsang-Souchong tea. Creosote. Delicate.
    • Taste
Rounded feel with a light maltiness. Grapefuit bitterness. Still a little prefumed but also woodsmoke and seaweed. Fresh seashells.
    • Finish
Medium long. Dry. Chewy and soft chocolate-mint. Liquorice with an oaky edge.
