    SMWS.com.au notes:

    Clean and innocent

    Colour: Innocent blonde

    Nose:
The first whiff gives loads of carrot cake. Then comes one of the most
complex noses that offers up a plethora of aromas, all of them
vanilla/bourbon-cask based: Fresh bamboo, pistachio ice cream, almond
biscuits, custard apple, and pecan pie. Then the other signature fruit
and spice notes emerge: Roasted butternut pumpkin, apricots, kumquats,
and the like. A gorgeous whisky to nose.

    Palate: “yum” and “Wow”
were such strong convictions, they were the first words we wrote down.
Descriptors included delicious oak notes, toasted grain, silky malt,
soothing, relaxing, balanced, integrated, and “mellow, but SO
    flavourful”!

Finish: “it’s a medium-long finish that is slow and
unhurried; relaxing and unwinding. it packages up all the best bits of
the nose and palate, and just plays them out for ages in a Classic hits
    rendition”.

Comments: “One of the most softest and soothing drams
i can remember. Velvet in texture, it caresses your mouth & strokes
you to sleep with gorgeous flavours” wrote the Cellarmaster. “A
masterclass in bourbon cask maturation” wrote TC, continuing with “one
to take on to the Ark”.

    SMWS UK Tasting Panel:

The nose inspired sweet descriptors (meringue, barley sugars, toffee, crème brûlée) and woody references (tea chests, sawdust, polished Steinway) – also leather, lemon zest, elderflower and vanilla – clean and innocent. With water, some perfume and tropical mix appeared. The unreduced palate had clove and nutmeg spice, sugar-coated fennel seeds and old-style wooden toys ... more perfumed with water, we found orange blossom, suntan oil, guava, mango, peach and Cadbury’s creme eggs. The finish was long-lasting – like the memory of a first kiss. Made by sixteen men.
