    Excellent whisky. Complex and interesting on the nose, very exciting and tasty in the mouth, as well as long on the finish. A great port. 87 points.
    • Nose
      Oak immediately in the nose. Smells older than 18 years. Vinous, dark chocolate, toffee, light sweetness. Fruity, but rather dry than fresh. Wet grass. Over time, the keg takes a back seat and gives the fruit flavors more room. Over time, a reminder of cherry pie is spreading, but not powerful, but rather discreet. By the minute, sweeter and lighter-colored.
    • Taste
      Sweeter in the mouth than in the nose. Dried plums, nut flavors and then tart, kräutrige flavors. Creamy in the mouthfeel.
    • Finish
      The finish is dominated by tannins. Long lasting and rather dry. Mixed with slightly sweetened espresso.

    In the nose and in the mouth, the port is strong and determines the chatact of the whisky. In the finish, he then returns without muddling. I can imagine that this is already too little whisky for many people, but I like it, even if it seems a bit constructed and set up.
    • Nose
      Sweet, strawberries, cherries, raspberry, slightly sour, including malt, humus, after a while, the sweetness is somewhat back, the tart notes are clear, but it remains the impression of a strong fruit wine
    • Taste
      Appearance, slightly astringent, gentle pungency, then sweet, the fruit tart as in the nose, blackberry, some cassis, sour strawberries, oak, a touch of sulfur, the body is light
    • Finish
      Like water that flows down the path, the whisky loses its sweetness on its way to the water, the oak becomes stronger, the fruits fade into the background.

    Smell Nose: It's nothing new, it's better than good. Caramel, dark chocolate sauce, cranberry sauce, puree jujube, cinnamon, dried apricots, cherry flavored cough syrup, strength and clarity.

    Taste Palate: Oolong tea foam, plum tea bubble rice, fig hit selfishness! Dark chocolate, coffee grounds, tobacco finish.

    After rhythm Finish: medium to long, cranberries, walnuts, grape seeds, dried tobacco, cinnamon, mint cooling.

    Body: Moderately weighty, slightly dry, well balanced, strong but still easy to drink.

    Very good port finish; Compared to 15-year-old port has the price but also well!
    Nevertheless, a very successful Malt!

    [Color] rose;
    • Nose
      ripe sweet dark fruits, cherries, heavy port, spices, leather, oak;
    • Taste
      oily fruity onset, sweet, ripe grapes, plums, port, chocolate, oak, oily, creamy, complex;
    • Finish
      long finish; dry aftertaste;

    I mean, it's hard to find the influence of the malt spirit in this GlenDronach, which is a pity. Therefore, it lacks balance, if you ask me.
    • Nose
      A tad spicy, but overall the chocolate (cocoa powder, pralines) and even more so, the red fruit (strawberries, raspberries, cherries), dominate. There's some room left for rose petals though, as well as a tinge of orange syrup. Doesn't feel very well integrated though.
    • Taste
      Big oily, fatty wine influence. Overtly sweet with a spicy edge (cinnamon). The red fruits make an encore. Hints of apricots too. However, it's that candy-esque, syrupy feeling that lingers.
    • Finish
      Sweet. Medium in length.

    fruity, tart, intense, full-bodied but very wine barrel-heavy
    • Nose
      Candied apple with lightly burnt sugar, raspberries, blackberry jam, blueberries, grapefruit peel, tree juice, wax, furniture polish, tobacco, herbs
    • Taste
      tart, coffee / chocolate / baking cocoa - bittersweet, roasted oak, wild berry jam, slightly darker caramel, prominent oak notes, tobacco, some pepper, bark, very fruity
    • Finish
      dry, astringent, roasted notes, chocolate, dates, grape seeds, walnut husk
