scbp-4343, a small and fresh one that is easier to drink. If you like the taste of cucumber, so much better.
    • Nose
      90 90
Light peat, lemon cake, with lemon juice aroma, but no skin oil stimulation, fresh grapefruit, sea breeze, tea, in addition to petals, rosemary, raw watermelon/watermelon white and other flavors, soft and complex High degree.
    • Taste
      89 89
The mouthfeel is soft, peat is moderate, the front flavor is slightly lost, but the overall balance is good. The taste of the entrance starts with some white space and syrup, to tea, mint, watermelon white, cucumber, and finally is closed with cucumber peel, ashes, and herbs. The wine strength is medium, the oily feeling is very weak, like a tea soup, the flavor is balanced and full, no irritation, comfortable, medium bitter, slightly astringent. 90/88
    • Finish
      89 89
Ashes, lemon juice, slightly astringent, glutinous, slightly bitter, and finally cucumber gas is awakened again. 89

    • Nose
Sometimes you make a movie of what a whisky's profile might look like by seeing the information on the label.
And sometimes (rarely), that's exactly what you predicted, and it makes you smile.

Peat, driftwood, coffee..this maritime side. Vanilla malt, aromatic herbs. More and more fresh.
    • Taste
We find the profile evoked by the nose. Very early at first, it is softer, with a slight lack of kick.
    • Finish
Ample. Coffee supported. Then wiser without the length, with a fine peat.

      Nose and Finale 4/5
      Mouth 3/5

      Whisky n ° 1906

straw color, very fresh nose, slightly vegetal, lemony, very marine, slightly peaty. Idem on the palate, quite sweet, fine, lemony, vegetal freshness well balanced by a hint of sugar and candied fruit. Final of medium length but very pleasant, on the ash, the salt, the seaweeds.

A good bowmore, rather classic, but not transcendent.
    • Nose
very powerful, it needs aeration. Alcohol moderately integrated. Little by little come cinnamon, peat, iodine, some exotic traces (pineapple, passion), medicinal notes.
    • Taste
Medicinal peat, earthy, with ashes, lemon, quite creamy but a bit young.
    • Finish
correct, but with a little bitterness, ashes, plants and a little iodine.

The nose is composed of a very nice mixture of pineapple, sea water and cold ashes. We find the same aromas in the mouth, a model of balance. Everything is accurate and nothing crushes the rest. The long finish is dominated by smoke and ash. A very nice bottling which guarantees a maximum of pleasure to the amateurs of the profile.

Good Bowmore, his youth is not felt and the pleasure is there.
    • Nose
Smoke and rubber, not my favorite profile. Slightly peaty, not really engaging.
    • Taste
Much better, fruity (pear, quince jelly), melted aromas and beautiful power. Salty and iodized touches caresse the palate.
    • Finish
Average with a nice impression of sweet / salty.

  7. Jeep51 scored this whisky 87 points Expert Senior

While the nose suggests a rather classic whisky even some, the mouth is a beautiful maturity for a 13yo
    • Nose
Relatively classic. Light peat, wet dog and vanilla. Evolves towards greener notes with aeration: plant liquors.
    • Taste
First a lot of peat for a Bowmore, without it being too invasive. In the middle of the mouth, the whole evolves towards exotic fruits, well-ripened fruits and a slight sweet side: mangos, persimmon, pineapple ... yum. It works perfectly.
    • Finish
Very long. Oily, the mouth remains long impregnated with peat and cold ash.
