Buttery and peaty with a few meat notes is my first impression. Salted caramel , brine, reminds me just a little bit of Caol Ila but more restrained.
Is there some heather in the mix?
Finally a little shortbread.
Silky smooth, dark honey, honeycomb, some salt, chocolate (jut, a little waxy.
Then the classic Brora emerges on peat & honeycomb but some similarities here with old clynelish but this is heavier and thicker on the palate.
There is no bitterness whatsoever.
Quite long and elegant with a slightly spicy orangey, ginger finish
