The nose on this whisky is quite ok. But as soon as you taste it, it just gets downhill. The finish itself if tannic.
I think this was bad whisky and topped up in a sherry cask. But they didn't really reach their goal I suppose.

Quite fresh, I tend to find some mild citrus fruit in here and some menthol too. Little grain notes are there too. Very much in the background there is some sherry notes, but you will have to look for it. After a while you get a note from those very cheap chewing gum-balls. Water doesn't change it much.

First arrival is sweet, then a bitter note. Then again some sweetness and bitterness comes through. It is as if it had too much on oak, but it is not oaked, if that makes sense. There is not much of the sherry cask in here. Water takes away the layers and now you have just bitter-sour sweetness.

Medium length. Again the tannins are present. I find this one over the top. There is a hint of sweetness in here and at the end you will find a hint of the sherry cask. Water makes the sherry and the tannins come forward more.
