In this price segment really not to despise. Tastes me again and again and is absolutely well suited for beginners.
    • Nose
Sweet, fruits (ripe apple), malt and heather
    • Taste
Honey, fruit, quite spicy, for a long time in the mouth comes with a hint of nut
    • Finish
Medium, sweet, vanilla, at the end there is still a bit of nut to hang

  6. Sandman scored this whisky 65 points Expert Senior

Disappointing, in this price range you can find better blends or single malt.
    • Nose
Honey, sugar, strawberries, vanilla, pear, red apples and hint of nutmeg
    • Taste
Honey, nutmeg, stewed fruit, nuts, ginger, a bit of chocolate and a hint of tobacco.
    • Finish
Short, sugar, stewed fruit, ginger and oak.

  8. wisekycourse scored this whisky 73 points Connoisseur

Velvety, a little honey, good with a rock and candied oranges!
Otherwise, no change, too flat, too neutral, too expensive for the expected reaction!

  10. Marko_I did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

Sweeter, warmer and a little bit "thicker" than the Spey Cascade and like this its price (~ 27 €) worth, tasty, complacent, uncomplicated beginner, pleasantly composed.
    • Nose
mild, sweet, round, overripe apple, applesauce, honey, brown sugar, some cinnamon (or am I just imagining it because it fits so well?), a touch of Werther's realness
    • Taste
very sweet (honey, brown sugar) and slightly spicy (cinnamon, nutmeg), nutty and a bit bitter, roasted aromas, dark chocolate
    • Finish
medium long, dark chocolate, then some spiciness, I also get some dark, tart berry fruit
