    Nice mix of medical notes, campfire smoke and strong sherry. Too bad that such sherry-dominated smoky whiskys are no more common on Islay Island.
    You can already feel a little bit of youth and the sherry keg expresses tremendously, so youth and keg fight a bit against each other. That makes him huge, but a little unbalanced. All in all, this is fireworks and anything but boring. A great experience!

    Delicious Lagavulin, with plenty of sherry and accordingly fruity and oily. Good mixture of smoke / Brennereicharakter and the Sherry keg. Unfortunately not very profound and complex, which is why I can not give a higher rating.

    Smoked salmon nose, dried fruits. Greasy mouth, peat, vanilla, greedy until the end of mouth a bit bitter. Powerful. Short final. Too expensive for what it is.

    Very nice, very greedy.

      Light peat, fruits caramel (apples, oranges), some spices.

      With water: a little wood spring.
    • Taste
      Very greedy, peat, sherry, butterscotch, spices.

      With water: Fruits are more dominant.
    • Finish
      Relatively short, spices and pepper, a little dried fruit.

    I really like this type of profile. We can deplore the lack of complexity and especially the final, very short. To be reged for in better conditions.

      Enough varnish, wood, sugar and dried fruits. Some orange notes. We hardly find the peat of the laga, just a little land.
    • Taste
      Pretty sweet, greedy, fat, it is drunk alone and I like this type of profile. Alcohol is well integrated and the 51% do not feel. The whole is not very complex. We stay on a creamy whisky, very sherry (chocolate, raisins, orange, maybe calisson), with the remains of islay a little ashes. very slight bitter return.

      Quite short and woody. Few aromas.

    amber color, peaty nose (light enough for Laga), sweet, oranges, candied fruits, very greedy. Mouth sweet, almost too much, greedy, oily, lots of chocolate, orange, light peat, a little iodine. Final quite short (especially behind Bunna Mos Christmas 2013). A very nice whisky, but quite simple and short in the mouth in the end.

    Very round, quite complex, this sweet peat works very well. I would give him more than 8 years old.

      A clever mix of farm peat (straw, hay) sherried with dried fruits.
    • Taste
      A candy of candied red fruits, it sticks to the teeth. Then a little peat is trying to break through.
    • Finish
      Farm and salt peat (and a little marine too) comes back in the foreground, with a good dose of pepper.
