Whisky Reviews for Isle of Jura 10-year-old

2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 76.57 points

  1. marmeladow scored this whisky 84 points Expert Senior

Takes 15-20 minutes in the glass to fully develop.
Then there is an elegant, light and uncomplicated enjoyment, fruity with a clear sherry content. Significantly more diverse and impressive than the Journey. No smoke at all.

  2. Igor scored this whisky 79 points Expert Senior

Not that bad at all - soft, light, easygoing. A bit simple to my taste, though it certainly worth its money to be paid.
    • Nose
Enjoyable, fair enough, but thin and somewhat weak. Apricots, figuline (clay), freshly-salted cucumbers, pickle, fennel, soft wood, hay, marinated vegetable marrow, sour apples.
    • Taste
Rather watery, light-bodied, vegetal, with traces of sunflower oil, sour cream and roasted almonds.
    • Finish
Quite short. Creamy, sweet a little, cappuccino, toffee, honey, lemon drops, bay leaf?, pepper, herbs and spice.
