  1. ASWhisky scored this whisky 50 points Connoisseur

watery and oily somewhere in there you will find scores
    • Nose
smells thin at first Peat water, black radish juice, some malt beer in the water then comes an alcohol and cereal note
    • Taste
Cereal on the tongue, with alcohol and malt flavor - much more is not there
    • Finish
      slightly malty aqueous alcohol

  2. Slàinte Mhath scored this whisky 65 points Administrator

Well, what can you expect of this classic, low-priced Blended Scotch? Red Label is very young whisky that can be sipped on its own, given that you don't mind the youthful edginess. The nose is certainly lacking complexity, being rather bland, harsh and sweet. Surprisingly, there is a restrained but pleasant Caol Ila/Talisker peatiness coming through. On the palate, indistinct sherry/bourbon notes turn slightly bitter in the development. No real finish. Red Label will most likely end in a tumbler with ice and Coca Cola - and there is nothing wrong with that!

    Och nö.
    • Nose
At the beginning a ham note. Salty. In the background is something floral and grassy. Mineral and slightly alcoholic.
    • Taste
Mild and herbaceous. Caramel, malt, honey, chocolate.
    • Finish
      Rather short, dry and dry.

  4. maltaholic scored this whisky 67 points Connoisseur

It smells pleasant, not sweet, rather spicy.
    Some sherry, some wood.

    Soft, light, young, uncomplicated.
I taste a spice, not really definable,
a bit bitter, as he unite inferior quality.

Good, I did not expect much,
    can you drink it ...
