  1. ChrisSym scored this whisky 86 points Expert Senior

Good barrel selection with a great whisky, which is not bottled so often. A single cask whisky for about 70 €, which is absolutely cheap. It is nice that the Glenlossie has many different notes in the nose and in the taste, even if he does not seem complicated drinking.
    • Nose
Great fruity notes immediately rise in the nose. Juicy peach, mandarins. Some red apple. Not quite ripe plums. Add a light scented touch, subtle fresh bourbon vanilla and finely integrated caramel and oak at the back. Very mild, harmonious impression.
    • Taste
Pleasant mouthfeel. The fruits are no longer so present, but rather notes of sweet pipe tobacco, pleasant oak and cocoa on warm vanilla pudding. All in all, more "set" notes. In the end, some honey and bittersweet or mocha and a hint of cinnamon.
    • Finish
The finish is medium to long. A light sweetness combined with fine oak and bitter almonds.
