A Pound for Pound Champion. The best Glen Scotia I have ever tried.
    • Nose
      92 92
Peat jumps out the glass, we are on Islay. It's a real fatty and meaty nose, braised pork and a rack of smoky baby back ribs. With time a maritime note appears, along with it some shipping ropes lying on a grassy meadow. Definitely arrived at Glen Scotia.
With time a sweet vanilla note rounds out the nose. A beach bonfire begins and takes the nose to another place.
    • Taste

Big, fatty and juicy! A mouthful of braised pork fat, Dongpo port, tail of a blackfin tuna and oriental spices. Holding on the palate brings out a sweet touch layered with soft maritime notes.
    • Finish
      89 89
Long, smoky with coals and unmanaged grassy fields.
