[January, 2018]  Another re-taste to do a proper review of an obvious average dram that was easy to sip (as far as I remember).  I bought this bottle for 54 Euro in October, 2014.

This is a quaffable dram with a delicate fruity and autumn floral profile - nothing spectacular but I like it!

[October, 2019] A had another dram during a community tasting that fully confirmed my old review and score.
    • Nose
      87 87
The colour is pale gold and the texture shows fat sticky tears that slowly build legs (a nice oiliness). The nose is vanilla-toffee driven with autumn floral, fruity and spicy aromas. Not too bad! The (yellow) fruits grow stronger upon breathing while the floral notes vanish somewhat which turns the nose sweeter over time.
    • Taste
      85 85
The taste is sugary and honey sweet with lots of floral, grassy and spicy flavours. Delicious fruits are there as well (peaches, apricots, quinces) and the wood adds some bitter tannins which are okay-ish in this sweet context. This taste is interesting to explore but not very complex (nonetheless nicely chewable).
    • Finish
      84 84
The initial mouthfeel is warming and (just) a little coating (I expected more from the oiliness) with a minor drying feeling (tannins). The finish is rather short and adds no new impressions. A minor drying moment (metallic-ashy) pops up at the very end that some might like and others not. Water releases chalky-mineral aromas in the nose and turns both taste and finish more drying so guess what - I like the neat dram better.
