Interesting, first of all a piece of history. Old character but unfortunately too diluted. Petrol notes are obvious and highlight the old style. Good but not a bottle to drink but to display.

Crunchy and slightly burnt plastic, play dough, marzipan. Full stonefruit: nectarine and peach. Light citrus notes. Grassiness. Feels like old production. Ripe but not overoaked. Light spicy side: cinnamon and clove with oak spice and orange peel. Feels like diluted but definitely not as dead as today's bottles. Green apple notes supporting from the bottom. Car exhaust, gasoline. Interesting.

On the palate, I definitely wouldn't say 40%, but I wouldn't exceed 43-46 either. Fruity notes go hand in hand. Sour cherry is added to stone fruits. Plum pit. Almond paste becomes obvious over time. green wood. Acorn. An interesting parasitic green. Definitely enjoyable, but not very special. A different character, of course. Thin peat.

Medium short length. A finish where that parasitic note and the exhaust-like, coaly gasoline note are prominent. Not too intense. Maybe a slight tannin. Acorns again. Eh.
