[June, 2017]  Let us have a look if the director cutted his piece rightly...

Dear Mr. Director - please let your master blenders do the cuts again as this is average only (at best).  But hey:  no trace of sulphur this time (sad this has to be mentioned nowadays)!  As a drinker I would not spend more than 60 Euro on such a bottle.
    • Nose
      86 86
The colour is amontillad and the texture shows fat fast legs and slow tears. The nose is on a sherry-toffee style with lots of vanilla. Was this really a full sherry maturation? I rather guess a double maturation with the longer part in a boubon cask (given the strong vanilla-toffee notes).
    • Taste
      83 83
The taste is spicy and on caramel with a rather short and herbal (camphor) finish.
    • Finish
      84 84
It arrives on the palate peppery and not much coating, rather unimpressive. Water releases more herbal aromas in the nose and on the palate, I do not like this (but if you do, let it swim...).
