This malt is distilled in a traditional Austrian "Edelbrand" still that results in a 2,5 times distilation. First matured for 3 years in first fill Austrian oak barrels, then transferred to Austrian red wine casks for an additional 2 years. All barrels are located in a basement that's dug out of the mountain were the distillery is build on. The angels share in this basement is +/- 4% per year.
