The nose is very complex and layered! There an old style nose packed in tropical fruits, garden herbs and fresh grassy notes. Also there is a nice touch of cedar wood. Delicious and impressive! It is very outspoken and gives a completely unique character. It gets better by the minute. Cocoa and milk chocolate join the nose after about 20 minutes
Soft arrival. Waxy on the palate. It literally explodes in the mouth. Whipped cream, tropical fruits and again milk chocolate. Also a toasted oak kind of taste.
Long and very tasteful. There is a great play between whole milk, tobacco and spices. There is a lot going on in the finish and it never gets boring. This is something to get excited about. Complex till the end.
I have had several Imperial bottlings, all rather good ones, but this is probably the best one so far.
