blind tasted: I am a little too woody and I would not buy something too "boring"
    • Nose
musty, crumbly, dusty wood - a bit washed out - a blend of subtle orange flavors that combine with a spicy-oily note that I associate with wax. Citrusy aromas, away apricots - all under sawdust, wood shavings, and burr dust buried, slightly resinous touch, some cardboard, some chocolate and again wood, away plums and again ...
    • Taste
smooth orange Tic Tac (orange, orange oil, mint), also lemon but more in the background, plus fresh wood, beautiful oak - tingling, spicy, peppery, quite complex and full-bodied, tobacco with a slightly soapy impact, milk chocolate, cappuccino, vanilla,
    • Finish
Here we are again close to the nose, dusty oak, slightly bitter and tart - rather short to medium long

A delicious malt with a sweet aftertaste and you can taste an aroma of cinnamon and ginger.

Not that bad. Nose is more complex than taste, but has a cheapish feel to it, coupled with flimsy 40%.
    • Nose
The nose is mild, with cheapish aromas. Sweet, oak, butter, chocolate, vanilla, mint, fragrant, sherry, banana.
    • Taste
Being astringent, at 40%, water isn't still of necessity. Recommended to try with water aswell, but easily gets diluted. Sweet, oak, vanilla, spice/pepper, banana.
    • Finish
The finish is warm, dry and spicy. Oak, spice, pepper.

    • Nose
Gentle sherry, some oak, soft red fruits, quite a delicate nose. Over time it becomes quite peppery and spicy, a little butter, milk chocolate, vanilla, mint, sweet like stepping into an old sweet shop.

With water - the sweeter notes start to disappear.
    • Taste
Oak, a little bitter astringency, some vanilla, wood spice.

With water - a touch sweeter
    • Finish
      Medium, oak, spice, pepper.

      With water - spicier

Pleasant. I was tired at home at Bicycle Street 3/2015.
    • Nose
      Nuts, vanilla
    • Taste
      Pear, oak, honey
    • Finish
Surprisingly sweet, slightly berry, medium after taste
