    SMWS.at notes:

    Fragrance bath and craft glue
On December 1, 1785, the first distillate poured from the stills of this distillery; This makes her one of the oldest in Scotland. Regardless of her age, she was the first to convert her stills to gas heating. Today it is owned by Morrison Bowmore. A curious mixture of craft glue, plastic, peat pits and a soapy-chemical note, all muted by menthol, smoke and black currants. A chemical element such as antifreeze is opposite floral notes - mint, lavender, citrus, then light smoke and something waxy finish. Water emphasizes the sharpness and promotes lemon juice, dried fruit and herbs (rosemary and thyme) to light. A scented bath, someone said. Slightly mediocre on the palate, but towards herbs, perhaps like panadol juice for children, and very perfumed - like a walk through the perfume department of a department store.
