  1. SilentStill scored this whisky 90 points Expert Senior

Very very nice nose followed by an at least pleasant palate and remarkably long finish. A good to very good representative of his guild and certainly a '67 Tomintoul who does not need to hide in the midst of his now numerous classmates.
    • Nose
Wonderful grape-nut aroma, over time, the fruit prevails over the nut. Orange and a little citrus are added to the grape. In addition, a touch of mild smoke and impressions of autumn leaves.
    • Taste
At first a hint of dark chocolate detached from rather tart and spicy notes, from which the fruity aromas of the nose shine through from time to time. The well 48 turns donate enough power for the quite voluminoesen representatives.
    • Finish
Extremely long and at the same time slightly sweet as well as spicy.
