You can find on the net that not only German but also Scottish whiskey should be included here. A blend, a teaspooned whiskey? Unfortunately nothing to be found on the label, just "bottled in Bavaria".

    A description from the Internet:

"The Raritas Diaboli Edition 2011/2012 is the last edition. From the end of 2012, single malts from Scotland may only be sold in bottles. It is therefore no longer possible for the Slyrs distillery to buy barrels with whiskey from Scotland.

Sometimes something special happens when friends get together, as happened in autumn 2007. The three friendly companies Deibel Consultants, SLYRS Distillerie and Irisch Lifestyle met for a glass of whiskey at Schliersee and suddenly the idea was born: Raritas Diaboli.

Jürgen Deibel was able to gain a wealth of experience on his many trips through the various worlds of whiskey and spirits. He brought many different, interesting samples from the most diverse distilleries and whiskey worlds. SLYRS distillery in Lantenhammer, Bavaria, began to experiment with all his knowledge and experience with the most varied of whiskeys, the most varied of ages and mixing ratios. And the result was impressive then - as it is today -: the Raritas Diaboli was born and approved. "

Clearly Slyrs on the nose, but first of all the really good barrel for a Slyrs, sherry, dark fruits in the mouth.

Takes a few drops of water well, a very good whiskey for my previous experience with Slyrs!

At the current time - 11/29/2020 - he has 80P here. I think that's undeserved, because it's the best Slyrs I've tried so far, well before the 12 and the Cask Strength bottles.

Not very persistent in the finish, but also not rambling or generally deteriorating.
    I like it!
