    Rosebank 15Yo Zenith Import Bot.1980s 50%abv

scbp-6261. A great whisky, with little to no cask influence, but the distilling character of ancient spirits is unmistakable. Judging from the point of view of flavor alone, this wine is still astringent, and it is a little harder to drink than Gu Zao Shirley, but it can be considered to be outstanding among its peers. If you like this style and are willing to appreciate it, then this will be for you Rosebank.
    • Nose
      91 91
A distillate-driven vegetal dram! Peat seems imperceptible, hints of plenty of vegetables, old newspaper, small yellow flowers, boiled loofah, barley sugar, sea salt, slightly hot melt glue, slightly sour. There are flour and oak barrel sugar below. After the cup is awakened, the powdered sugar has a stronger feeling. The flavor looks green and unworkable at first glance, but it is balanced and comfortable, and it has the feeling of small farmers' fine work. 91
    • Taste
      92 92
A hint of spice and a hint of milkiness. Peppermint syrup, honey, sugar water, and a lot of vegetables are a combination of flower essential oils in the general sense and restrained alcohol. It has a sense of rye-style spice such as star anise, the flavor complexity is not high, slightly oily, but the feeling of the wine body is just right, with its own high sweetness, the flavor is much smoother, and there is a slightly sweet little orange red at the end. Apple, with a stronger sense of mint with Chichibu. Medium alcohol power, low irritation, no oily feeling, medium-heavy wine. p92b93
    • Finish
      90 90
Very fresh vegetable melon, pure stimulation of malt spirits, like green pepper, but more restrained. The aftertaste of vegetables is slightly astringent, slightly dusty, with mint. 90
