with water: no, he doesn't get a drop of water from me

Conclusion: classic old-style Sherry-Mortlach, which, despite the large amount of sherry, has retained its meatiness from the distillery character, the oak is present, but does not paint over everything. If you love beautiful, long-matured sherry malts that are not overwhelmed by sweetness, this is the right place for you. Even with "only" 43% it is not at all weak on the chest. Fantastically good!

Fruit cake, dark chocolate, oranges, dates, plums, raisins, subtly fleshy, leather and tobacco, dry and sweet at the same time, some nuts (almonds and hazelnuts); burnt caramel, star anise, cloves and printen
    • Taste

soft and velvety approach, intense sherry notes with caramel sweetness, nuts, leather, dark dried fruits, apricots

medium to long, here too the intense sherry sweetness, interesting blend of spices with cloves, oranges, chocolate, dry on the outside but hardly bitter
