Sweet, malty, fruity and soft. Amazingly youthful on the nose, but even minimal smoke on the finish. Light and easy drinking, but not boring. Nice daily dram.

A Lowland, different but still on par with Auchentoshan's 12YO. Reasonably priced.
    • Nose
Very fresh and floral. Soft vanilla and light grassy note. But the floral is dominant, saturated, bordering on perfumy. Some pure oak emerging over time. Alc is quite present even at just 43%
    • Taste
A little dry sweetness, like chewing on fresh beech tree bark. Grassy with a sprinkle of pepper.

Midway there's some more heavy notes like toasted dark rye bread.
    • Finish
Still a bit dry, now with a little bitterness.

Almost like sucking on whole peppercorn.

      About medium in lenght.

    • Finish
      72 72
