- A Lowland, different but still on par with Auchentoshan's 12YO. Reasonably priced.
Very fresh and floral. Soft vanilla and light grassy note. But the floral is dominant, saturated, bordering on perfumy. Some pure oak emerging over time. Alc is quite present even at just 43%
A little dry sweetness, like chewing on fresh beech tree bark. Grassy with a sprinkle of pepper.
Midway there's some more heavy notes like toasted dark rye bread.
Still a bit dry, now with a little bitterness.
Almost like sucking on whole peppercorn.
About medium in lenght.
- fruit pie, malt, little bread ... firm
Fresh and soft fragrance with a lot of fruit
Taste is quite soft and a bit sweet. Little licorice licorice.
Soft and fresh aftertaste
