  1. Lorion scored this whisky 87 points Connoisseur

Conclusion: interesting. A great nose. Water is really good here and noticeably changes the whisky. With a few drops of water, the whisky is also great on the palate. Water and especially time are extremely good for the whisky. It is getting better, more intense, leathery, fruity. 87 points.
    • Nose
Nose: A really beguiling nose. Baked apple and forest berries paired with an aromatic and chocolate oak. Sweet and bitter grape skins. Strawberries. Some pine nuts and hazelnuts. After some time, cotton candy comes into the nose.
Water: cinnamon and plums, more intense chocolate.
    • Taste
Palate: oily and fruity. A slightly artificial sweetness is added. The oak is in the front, not bitter, but it is there. Perfumed wood. Berries. Sweet taste. The second sip is a bit more sophisticated. Not sharp, but a bit unbalanced.
Water: Nutty cinnamon biscuits. The berries are in the background. A little leather is added. Batch of fermented fruit.
    • Finish
Finish: medium length. A bit of sweetness remains.
