    • Nose
Immediately very sweet and mild. Vanilla sugar. Dough. It smells like baking cookies. In addition a very slight bittersweet note of almonds. No alcohol noticeable.
    • Taste
Very mild mouthfeel. Sweet and round. Then slowly spicy and bitter. Oak. Almonds. Chocolaty.
    • Finish
      Rather short but long sweet.

A perfect example of "drinking" whiskey. Drink imperceptibly and with great pleasure, do not get drunk!
It is advisable to use within 1.5-2x weeks, after opening the bottle, because very quickly exhaled.
    • Nose
Port wine; tobacco; vanilla sweetness; butter cream
    • Taste
      Tobacco; bourbon notes; woody aftertaste
    • Finish
Chokeberry mountain ash; cherry; bitterness of cranberry leaves; knits heavily

The best long Irish whiskey I could taste
    • Nose
Fresh, sweet, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, toffee, candied plum, plum dumplings, decanted butter
    • Taste
Delicate, supple, velvet soft, reflects the whole range of the nose again. Caramel and a kind of creamy taste join after adding some water.
    • Finish
Long and delicate. With water creamy left on the tongue.

Nose: Rich, sweet and floral. Fresh oak. then a bit of aceton or paint, like stained wood.

Taste: Light. Sweet, sugary. A bit of pepper.

Finish: Sweet, super easy and fairly short. Some bitter oak.

OK whiskey for this kind of money

Medium gold pour. Nose is sweaty, vanilla, some pureed stone fruit, something light vegetal. Mouth is dominated by vanilla and over-ripe peach, something musty/sweaty. Not particularly interesting but drinkable. Not as jagged and rough as the standard white label. Doesn't deserve a ton more analysis than this.

  10. John Thomas scored this whisky 81 points Newbie

Very fruity and floral nose, light but with hints of richness. Taste is mainly of green apples, green grapes, a little custard. Not as rich as my nose hinted. After taste does not last long and a slight bitter-sweet and tongue tingle develop at the end. Just ok, not enough of an improvement over the standard version to justify the cost in my area.
