Was in a good mood, and a slightly hot day, but very nice bottle. Note bottle has been open for quite some time.
    • Nose

Salted ham, acetone, laugenbrezel, copper coins, menthol, warm ginger cake with syrup, tropical notes, passionfruit, mango (limited British knowledge holding me back), lychee?, dried apricots, unripe lychee, back to a cured meat body supporting everything... the beast strikes again!
    • Taste
      88 88
figs, metallic citrus, chewy, Turkish delight, rose, mint, something eatery I tasted when I made bad-macallan flavoured tablet which ended up being nice, tannins come, but not overpowering, this is where sherry influence first arrives and becomes clear. Refill? These tannins grow and burst into a sherberty something seamlessly into the finish. (depends where palate ends and finish begins)
    • Finish
      89 89
long and changing. Starts with end of the finish, then becomes fizzy, tannins become like cocoa butter, with hint of rum soaked raisens, and something leafy? Some tea, but a sweet black sugar syrup coats mouth which is delightful and toffee like with is it violets or citrus peal?
