  1. AdelphosHume scored this whisky 74 points Expert Senior

The whisky did much better after I left it to breath for about 20 minutes. The sour new-make faded and the sweeter malt, honey, and spice notes featured more strongly on the nose. With the palate, it's a young whisky, so it's understandably simple. It's the kind of whisky best enjoyed during the summer, I think.
    • Nose
Sour yeasty malt with a hint of copper (new-make), green and red apples, honey and solvent, hints of spice (nutmeg and clove) and tannic green
    • Taste
Walnut oil, mead and oak, unsweet malt
    • Finish
vague dry spice, wood ash, and floral green
