My meanest Chichibu, also looks much younger than other 3y Chichi I already had.
    • Nose
Phew, very unpleasant, pure alcohol, wood glue, Gouda cheese, some light honey, light grapes, unripe banana, unattractive Chichibu nose which I had so far after about 15 pieces
    • Taste
You can see the very young age also here, he has the name quite a "bio" note, clear malt, hops, some honey and resin, after 2.3 slips then comes a bit of banana, cereals, young oak, wood chips slightly smoked
    • Finish
Dry-malty, spelled bun, oak, light honey, cereals, medium-long

    Enthusiasm:
    Nose: 3/5
    Mouth and final 4/5
    Whisky n ° 1636
    • Nose
A bit alcoholic at first, but it goes quickly. On the other hand, creamy, vanilla, like a "soft bourbon". Slightly vegetal, never very bulky in aromas.
    • Taste
On the palate, creamy touch, it evokes grain whisky. Banana, vanilla, delicate and refined, evanescent. Some spices appear and assert themselves as if to prove the presence of malt.
    • Finish
Finale on delicate spices, praline, coffee and milk, which is reminiscent of the White Russian! (a madeleine of Proust personal)

    (Blind PWC of 21/10/17)
A very nice surprise when I saw the label. A 3 year old Chichibu, what a great job for such a young Whisky. To my great despair, he puts the quid to many Scots.
    • Nose
There are notes of vanilla, honey and almonds mainly. I also have some fresh fruit and some citrus fruits.
    • Taste
In the mouth, it's super atypical with a nice power. There are still almonds and this pastry / malty side that is off the beaten path.
    • Finish
On almonds, vanilla and a bitterness (the pleasant one).

N: After ‘The First’ WB, comes a second. Lovely barley mash, dryish cereals, vegetal fruits [leafy plums] -bottled at a divine [abv] strength, heralding the briny=waxy mouthfeel that’s to come.
T: A savoury one, thin cardboard-barley, dried mushrooms, but its the copper from the distillate and cereals [Shredded Wheat] that shine - coated in a strong briny=waxy mouthfeel. In fact, its an equal mouthfeel/taste sensation
F: Shortish finish but with a resonating loveliness, ending with spirity caramac, waxy [beeswax] maltiness.
C: Yummy indeed and flawless. This has the edge over ‘The First’, but they are both very good. Let’s try a single cask from the same year, but twice the age WB.

    Scores a B-

You should not add too much water to this whisky, then it is better. Too much water immediately takes away the good taste. I dispensed with a flowery description, such as: A touch of vanilla with a pinch of Korean, on the finish cloves with brussels sprouts and flower wood with peppery grassy finish - and similar nonsense. It's a whisky, it tastes like whisky can taste - like whisky. He is not smoky rather fruity. Well ... There are better, but then more expensive. In any case, he is good in his price range. On Neudeutsch: Schmeissen in flap only that, only nothing fil bath in water this. Making blatantly drunk so, who fil fil. Good aroma, who has fil rhein, good aroma already, almost pure. Buy that at japanfisch töier, gipt fileicht still fish datsu and at Uki shop good wine still rusty kalashnikov, if question. Uki-Laden fil cheap, fileicht sell it in with water from Dnieper. Hehe, the chok, man. Krass believe nothing. With Franzos and Tschingg vil expensive dise.

The youth is very obvious on the nose and in the attack, all sweet barley and a little bit of new make waxiness.  From there the palate improves dramtically opening up with a lovely fruity sweetness, marshmallow, and a hint of orange candy.  The feel is excellent with an unexpected mouth-coating richness.  The finish while a little short is already starting to show a little very promising complexity.  Overall great marks for such an young malt, and a great view of what will be in store for us in a few years.  Anyone who likes young malts should not miss this one.

    • Nose
So here is the strength of alcohol to know from the first squeeze. Sharp, and under that sharpness it is beautifully sweet, fruity, bonbón onion , vanilla. Even in the second wave it is smoothly smooth, although it is hidden under prickly sharpness, which is probably the opposite, but it is. The more I inhale her, the more I like it and I find other fine nuances of smell. (85 b)
    • Taste
Sympatically creamy, still sharp, vanilla, woody, cereal. With water still sharp, more creamy. Lightly woody flavor, but within limits, nothing that would be unpleasant. (84 b)
