    I'd
    describe the colour as golden, it's got that deeper hue at the rim of the
    liquid going down to a more see-through tone at the base. Middle Eastern
    spice on the nose, it's creamy on the nose as well, an interesting if not
    overly complex nose. The palate is described as "fresh" in the official tasting notes.
    I can see that but it's slightly dull as well.  The burn is definitely there but there's
    not enough "taste" for me. The finish is ok but I sort of expected
    longer in truth. It's a nice whisky but certainly not much more than nice.
    There is a sweet note on the periphery of this whisky and it's got nice
    balance, I'll give it that. Upon consideration I'm upping the palate by a point
    as the sweetness is coming through
