  1. Calmar scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

Excellent, perfectly balanced, rich in shades and undertones, quite complex and deep, despite the obvious youth, drinkable, very solid.
    • Nose
Open, dry, velvety wave of smoke and peat against the background of old leather goods, furniture and pipe tobacco, salted caramel, toffee, some mineral-metallic shades, camphor, industrial textiles.
    • Taste
Calm, rich, oak, old leather goods, tobacco, bark astringency, dark chocolate, light mineral-metallic shades, sweet creamy notes - boiled condensed milk, fudge; burnt caramel, stout, ash.
    • Finish
Light, refreshing, oak, creamy sweetness, tobacco, metallic sourness, leather goods, lemon peel, coffee, dark chocolate, beer shades.
