  1. LiquidThoughts scored this whisky 93 points Connoisseur

Hearty, full, complex and yet not too overwhelming or superimposed, it couldn't be bottled at a better time and the Glengoyne quality shines through.
    • Nose
Hearty, charged and full, lightly roasted nuts, tobacco leaves, interspersed with dried fruits such as peaches, oranges, apples, almonds, some black pepper, noticeably oak and leather, quite rustic, coarse chocolate shavings and some Earl Gray tea, hay
    • Taste
Sweet grasses, suede, baked apple, bitter orange, black pepper, Earl Gray tea, some eucalyptus, hearty, full-bodied, plums and raisins, the oak wonderfully present and yet roundly integrated, peach-ginger jam, brown sugar, almost a molasses-like note, Milk chocolate, mocha
    • Finish
Peach ginger jam, menthol, raisins, grasses, bitter orange, malt, camphor, long, warm, intense, but not burning
