    What a Laph!
Sample drunk at random and didn't expect to be so pleasantly surprised.
The balance and integration of alcohol is perfect!
    • Nose
      92 92
A super pretty nose that doesn't lie about Laphroaig.
Beautiful peat, rather light, on camphor, medicinal, strip.
Black and white pepper, accompanied by licorice and fresh peppermint.
A little orange peel, and Christmas spices.
    • Taste
      92 92
On the palate, the peat is a little more fatty, vegetal.
We still have this medicinal and camphoric side, but it is a little hidden in a haystack.
Orange peel, dried flower, potpourri. It's delicate, graceful, balanced.
Light sweetness on the brown sugar, then bitter almond, which binds with the orange.
    • Finish
      91 91
Long finish on a slightly burnt and ashy peat.
Bold, floral, dried orange, and camphoraceous.
      A delight.
