A really typical Bladnoch. Extremely grassy and lemony with tart herbs and an effervescent minerality. After some time meadowsweet, an early morning river bank, warm earth, light farm aromas like a cow pasture in the morning dew or a haystack and slightly malty and vanilla aromas. Very late also notes of freshly cut apples and a hint of salt.
With water: Very aromatic and fragrant. Various flowers, honey, gooseberries, warm milk or even whipped cream on butter cake.

Overall very well balanced. Initially notes of citrus, effervescent minerality, hay, bitter herbs, dry oak and the scent of a summer rain. Later it becomes slightly nutty and develops a delicate spiciness. Something old school?
With water: complex and absolutely “natural”. Earth, grass, damp linen, an old barn, dusty leather-bound books and a subtle nuttiness.

Wonderfully complex, malty and spicy. Hints of nuts, banana and citrus end in a long finish with a really broad finish.
