    i expected that this was going to be an amazing whisky and it really is but with only 40% abv it taste like it's holding back i think at a strength of 46-50% this would be amazing nothing less it's still a very complex whisky it's a real gem but not what i expected when i saw that vintage year
    • Nose
      straight away a smell of smokiness followed by cigars , dark chocolate and koffie beans, orange and figs
      if there are people who smoke meat hickory wood

      after 15min in the glass: it reminds me more and more of the smell you get when smoking ribs with hickory wood together with a heavy orange note in the background
    • Taste
      again smokiness ,cigars , wood, nuts , blood orange, dark chocolate
    • Finish
      very long finish smoky finish that develops into spices, woody , blood orange , nuts and chocolate
