  1. MaltMartin scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

I bought this bottle because of it rarity (as well as the rare distillery) It does not have the typical pencil shaving/saw dust characteristics of a single grain. It takes time to reveal its complexity.
    • Nose
Shy nose in the beginning. Apple juice. Hints of vanilla. Toasted oak. Flowery notes. It's all very delicate and subtle.
    • Taste
Now more vanilla. Light oakiness. Also honey. Cake mix. Sugary. Sandalwood, Aniseed. Ginger. Almond nuts.
    • Finish
Medium long. Sweet and quite sharp. Cinnamon. Hot paprika. Liquorice. A little pepper.
