The best Inchgower I've ever had the pleasure of trying. The bottlings from the 70s are particularly great. This Inchgower here is a true chameleon. It starts off with a warm, waxy, fruity profile and then shifts into wonderful herbal notes. A style that is hard to find these days.

Dry, sweet and somewhat restrained fruitiness. Biscuit and honey notes, compote fruits. Heather. Leather. A hint of paraffin and mint. Slightly dusty, but in a nice way. A very subtle passion fruit in the background.
    • Taste
      94 94
Very creamy, waxy and fruity, all with sweet citrus notes, lime and mandarin, before it turns into a herbal direction. Anise, candied ginger, mint. Almonds and beeswax. Cereal notes. Finally, tropical fruits (mango, star fruit, pineapple) take the lead again. Very tasty.
    • Finish
      93 93
Long, warming, with a lingering sweet-herbal note, orange peel, candied apple, malty notes, sugary oak.
