  1. Archer scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

It's starting to get uncomfortable to constantly copy from yourself. But what can you do, since the necessary consistency is already there.
The sweet mandarin oranges of the previous batch 24/114 are present, and the peat smoke note seems stronger to me. Otherwise, as usual: great Campbeltown cinema for little money.
    • Nose
A pleasantly bulky nose transports me mentally to Campbeltown. Quite strong peat smoke—at least for a Campbeltown loch—dispels the fumes of a chugging diesel engine, along with grilled pineapple slices, lime zest, tangerine water, a touch of fresh ginger. Damp wood (groynes in the sea), a touch of pepper, and grated nutmeg.
    • Taste
Sweet and tart raisins and figs, along with saltwater-drenched pebbles, a lingering feeling of machine oil. A well-balanced spice blend of curry powder, turmeric, and chervil, along with grapefruit, lime juice, and sweet tangerines, slightly salty and woody, creating a wonderfully maritime impression. At first, I thought it was a strong woody note, but no, this is peat smoke. A bit of latte and Werther's Original, but still with a good dose of dirtiness.
    • Finish
Whether it's the peat smoke note or the dirt, it fades slowly. In any case, it still can't be due to age; like its predecessors, it's about five to six years old. The (completely unsulfured) raisins come through again here; it's still quite mineral and woody, with a hint of peat smoke and a subtle spice. Sweet tangerine juice.
