- A fair amount of rubber and tar on the nose, with gooseberries and vanilla custard underneath, and even a slightly odd horseradish and cold salmon note. Very concentrated palate with orange and mint, herbal syrup and salted smoked eel. The finish is long and evolves nicely with sugared eucalyptus and salted ash smoke. It's the palate though that really impresses.
- Standard ledaig with sherry. Good kick from the alcohol.
- For 13 years the barrel has practically eaten the base, the smoky smoked tones only with time, on the flight, make their way from under sherry abundance recalling that this is not just one of the numerous sherry monsters, there is very little rubber. Otherwise, everything is fine - a beautiful balance, deep and rich flavor, excellent work with the fortress - no discomfort from more than 60% is not felt, interesting, piteous.
Raw, cool, raw rotten stump, earth, Puer tea, mushrooms, acetone, oak, raisins, dried fruits, dried apricots, prunes, light smoky notes, pine branches, resin, Lapsang suhong, carpentry - varnish, putty, thinner, burnt paper , an old campfire.
Oak, dried fruits, peppery wave, creamy notes, boiled condensed milk, toffee, in the background coal and burnt branches, smoke, ash.
Butter, lemon, toffee, boiled condensed milk and again from the background the Ledaig base is pierced - smoke, coal.
- Farmhouse as it's best;
Klassischer Ledaig: schwer, dreckig und "farmy", unverkennbar aber nicht extrem;
Total würzig und extrem gehaltvoll und kräftig; Kuhstall deluxe! Salz! Mit Wasser kommen mehr Fruchtaromen hervor;
Kräftig und wärmend, lang;
