- Compared to two other '92 Ardmores I had tasted before this one (one from Daily Dram and one from Kintra), this one is clearly less malty and less peaty, and therefore more fruity. I'd be less likely to recognise it as an Ardmore, but I like it even better.
Peach, vanilla, mango, lime, orange and a whiff of peat. Eventually a little caramel.
Peach, mango, peat, orange, grapefruit, pepper and a tad of malt. With water some vanilla.
Peach, peat, orange, vanilla cookie and a little grass.
- Probably the best Ardmore I have ever had.
- Ardmore never disappoints me. Again a very good whisky from this underestimated distillery.
Smooth, fresh and clean. Lightly peated with additional coastal notes, vanilla and sweet lemonade. A very elegant nose - excellent!
Warming with mild peat and spices (ginger, pepper) in the dominating role plus lemonade, cereals, almonds and toffee. Very tasty.
Long and clean with the notes from the palate lingering on. Rather dry.
