  1. KIMCHIBaby scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

"Simple yet true to its purpose—PX at its finest."
While undoubtedly delicious, this dram also reveals the limitations of its aging process.
It doesn’t offer deep, complex layers, but it fully delivers the expected PX cask sweetness.

A whisky that feels like the perfect pick-me-up when you’re exhausted.

      "Yes, I am PX."
This whisky embodies the classic, sweet characteristics of a PX cask.
Rather than being dark and heavy, it has a moderately bright and inviting aroma.

Pleasant vanilla and banana-like softness blend with the creamy sweetness of chocolate milk.
Maraschino cherry, sherry, and milk chocolate are the most dominant notes, with subtle hints of walnut nuttiness and intensely charred wood in the background.

If this were full PX maturation, it might have been overwhelming, but the cask balance feels well-managed.

      P) Vanilla, Chocolate, Almond, Cocoa Powder, Pound Cake, Nutella, Grape

"Well-integrated alcohol, a sweet treat party."
      Cons: Slightly powdery bitterness.
      Pros: Everything else.

It’s incredibly smooth, with minimal harshness despite its high ABV.
The PX cask influence is strong, yet the spirit’s underlying floral structure still shines through.
Rather than being overpowered by the PX cask, it maintains a well-balanced harmony.

This is the kind of whisky that feels like it could replenish your blood sugar when you're feeling drained.
    • Finish
      88 88
      F) Milk Chocolate, Cocoa Powder, Vanilla, Honey, Acacia, Dark Chocolate

      "Lingering, reluctant to say goodbye."
It’s easy to get lost in the sweetness of the palate, making it hard to let this dram go.
Perhaps that’s why the finish feels so long, as if trying to stay in your mouth as long as possible.

Milk chocolate and cocoa powder linger, accompanied by a soft honey sweetness reminiscent of acacia honey.
However, it’s not just about sweetness—there’s also a touch of dark chocolate bitterness, adding depth and balance.
