  1. Choas scored this whisky 86 points Connoisseur

This is a fairly bland Arran that delivers a modern sherry note, but nothing more. Not much depth, the bad note isn't that cool and then you're asking for so much money. Not worth €120 for me and I don't necessarily have to buy it.
    • Nose
      86 86
At the beginning it is a succinct sherry, winey-plumy, with more time in the glass it becomes sweeter, notes of almond biscuits, otherwise a rather boring modern sherry profile with little depth, with more air in the bottle it becomes better with more orange
    • Taste
      86 86
a bit bland, red fruits, slight cellar mustiness/fermented, orange, more air in the bottle takes away the off notes, but it still doesn't become a deep malt
    • Finish
      87 87
In the finish, the orange comes forward a bit, but the fermented cherry notes are still there, minimally tart, slight chocolate note, but a bit boring
