  1. LDB scored this whisky 90 points Connoisseur

Greatly matured wine with a mild, smoky and fruity character from times gone by.
    • Nose
      91 91
Old suitcase, ripest pineapple, ball bearing grease, oiled antique furniture, old leather couch, finely interwoven with honeycombs with all the almost Springbank-like aromas, which still have a mild Calvados-like apple note as a Glen Grant signature. Elegant throughout. Balsamic and minty on top.
    • Taste
      90 90
Silky-smooth and suddenly a sense of deja vu: tastes a bit like the best old Laphi 15 with wonderful tropical fruits and a very delicate smoky note. Quite a bit surprising at first, but very tasty. Spicy and old-fruity honey notes then carry the whole thing back to Speyside.
    • Finish
      88 88
Well, the power is fading, but the great harmonious OBF nasal feeling remains, and if you chew with the seasoned spice it lasts for quite a while.
