    Official SMWS notes:

This malt is very rare and has never been bottled by its proprietor. The distillery, which stands within sight of the Moray Firth and incorporates one of the few windmills in Scotland, was mothballed in 1986. This bottling is from a refill hogshead and is the colour of white wine. The nose recollects the place of its birth; maritime and very lightly phenolic, with pencil shavings, light peppermint and fruit. When water is added, the theme continues with plastic beach pails and wet blankets, a soft misty nose. The flavour is sweet and creamy initially, then salty as it dries out, leaving a light aftertaste. It is interesting to note that the water supply to the distillery is famously salty.
